1. For this poster it works very well "standing alone" as it gives out a clear and concise message to what it is about.
2. This poster does not include bullet points, but does include short phrases to make the point on what to expect from the product.
4. The language of the title is plain and descriptive, making it easily recognisable.
Michal Batory is Polish born, Paris based graphic designer who designs posters in intresting ways. Examples include common day cotton swabs become a part of a tuning fork, a baguette serves as an element of a clarinet, a mannequin seems to have real breasts, while the extremities of gloves and shoes take the shape of human fingers. His sources can be either aesthetic or even poetic.
1. In this poster it isn't nessicarly "standing alone", but it gets it's message across pretty well.
2. This poster does not include bullet points, but does include short phrases to make the point about what the service offers.
3. I would say that there is a logical flow of material left to right/up to down progression. Showing what the service is like.
4. The language it a little more complex, but not too complex for the reader to understand.
1. This poster is standing alone, while also giving it's message across in a simple but effective at the same time.
2. This poster does not include any bullet points, or short phrases.
3. This poster just contains the image of the Hulk's hand with a plaster on one of his fingers, with the brand of plasters at the bottom right. It gives off a simple message of how the plasters are as strong as the hulk.
1. This poster is standing alone, showing the origin of where this particular salmon in the picture comes from.
2. This poster includes the use of a bullet point style system in this case.
3. I would say that there is a logical flow of material left to right/up to down progression. This shows the piece of salmon as being like a gps tracker.
4. The language of this poster is easy to understand, and come acoss as well.

Analysing a poster for an event
This poster is advertising a comic convention in the BCE Arena, in Manchester, which was held from the 27th-28th July 2024. The main colours of the poster are that of red and yellow, giving it a nice colour scheme almost like a comic book! The typefaces of the poster also have a comic book-style feeling as well. The imagery of the poster on the other hand has characters from all sorts of media franchises taking up space on the poster, this shows what fans should expect at the convention. It also has a list of celebrities who you can meet at the convention at the bottom of the poster. The graphic element that this poster has is the inclusion of lines in the use of separation of names of the celebrities who are at the event. This poster suits my audience because of it includes many of the things that (in my opinion) work best with a comic con poster. The way I would fix this poster is by having the characters not be all over the place, and not making the names of the celebrities attending the convention sideways.

Lighting
High-Key Lighting
High key lighting is the type of lighing that reduces a particular lighting in a scene. This means that there is less contrast between the darker tones and the brighter areas. What makes this version of lighting work is that it can create a perfect contrast between a darker tone in a particular scene, showing the thoughts and feelings of a particular character.
Low-Key Lighting
Low key lighting is a style of lighting for film and photography that has an emphasis on shadows. This style gives it's effect by hard source lighting within the scene. This works due to it's emphaisis on the background with the shadows. Giving it an interesting feeling to watch.

To make this poster, I had a look at other comic con posters to get an idea and feel to what my poster should be like. I also used Adobe Photoshop to create this poster above.

I decided to redo my comic con poster as I wanted to give it more of a style, and fix up certain things that I thought needed to be redone. For making this poster I used Adobe Photoshop to create it and used images that I found on the web to help me make it. I used red as the main colour of the poster and characters to make it stand out, and to also add some level of consistency in the desgin. For the text I decided to make it in diffrent clours so I could add more style to it and unquiness at the same time. I also made it have a contrast between the colours of the rest of the poster vs the headline and taglines of the poster.
5.11.24
I took an image from the internet as I was unable to take a photo, I however did credit the original owners of the photograph that I used for my poster. To create it I used Adobe Photoshop in which I added text relating to the event, and also made it a little darker. I looked at the previous comic con poster that I made and copied the text that was on it, with changing the colour of it as I wanted it to feel different from the orginal verison. I also put in an address, that I created using a fake address generator, as I didn't have it in the original.
8.11.24
To create the illusion of the poster being on the bus stop or the London Underground, I used the magic of Adobe Photoshop to make these. I used my poster that I had created previously for putting them up in these two public transport areas. I picked these areas as they are the easiest to photoshop, and to give it a feel to what my poster would look like when advertised in real life.
